When a seatbelt is damaged or worn, NZTA rules say it must be replaced or repaired by an approved agent. Replacing the whole unit is often expensive and unnecessary—especially if it’s just the webbing that’s the issue.

We’re Belttech NZ, a family-run business based in Wellington. With over 30 years in the industry, we offer NZTA-approved seatbelt re-webbing and refurbishment to customers all over New Zealand.

We use strong, safety-tested materials and a CNC sewing machine to deliver repairs that meet or exceed OEM standards—at a fraction of the cost of full replacements. In some cases, we can even extend the length of your seatbelt for a better fit.
